We share the joy of the Doclisboa by announcing the return of the festival, scheduled between days 5 and May 10, at Culturgest.

It will be 7 sessions comprised of 15 films, which include the world premieres of films from former and current ESTC students, namely:

May 5, 16h  -"Visions of the Empire", from Joana Pontes.

A film about the way the Portuguese empire and its history were imagined, documented and publicized from the photographic record, from the late nineteenth century to the revolution that in 1974 put an end to the authoritarian political regime that governed Portugal.

May 6, 19h -"Faith, Hope and Charity", held in 1993, by Maria João Rocha, and which puts in "scene" the play of Ödön von Horváth, constructing the portrait of a cynical, petty and selfish society, always ready to dehumanize, in a period of economic crisis and spiritual and moral decay. Even though strangely absent, it is considered   the great Portuguese television theatre work. Maria João Rocha, who staged her and performed, had a wide pathway through the theatre while encroached and at the RTP where she performed several portraits of Portuguese artists.

In 1994 received a special mention of the jury of the Italian Prize's Television Theatre Festival for the making of the film.

May 8, 10h30  -"From My Window", from Pedro Cabral and   "To another tide", from Francisca Alarcão (these two films go through in conjunction with "Me More", from Ángel Montero, "Cristina", from Olívia Guerra and "42.ZE.66", by Eduardo Saraiva).

Five looks on memory and distance. In "Da My Window", it is looking for the exterior and in "For another tide", the beaches of Moledo and a pinhal remember past gestures.

May 9, 10h30  -"Remember Life Ali", de João Pedro Barriga (in a session with" Terraforming "by Ricardo Moreira," Prague Regada ", by Tomás Abreu, and" Semear, Ouvir, Fluir ", by Irina Oliveira).

" Remember the Life Ali " part of encounters Catarina Mourão, Susana de Sousa Dias and Catarina Alves Costa to look for the reconstructed reality by cinema and the questions about life picked up through a chamber.

The tickets already are available both at the Culturgest box office and on the Ticketline.
