The films presented were produced and carried out by the students of the film department of the Higher School of Theatre and Cinema of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. It is a small show dedicated to the city of Lisbon: three short films, two documentaries and a fiction produced on different dates, but with a common theme-a look over popular areas of this city. We present two short documentary films that are participatory observations of two young achievers-one on the Ladra Fair, another dedicated to the Fado of Alfama, both films in neighbouring locations and related to the National Pantheon. You will also be able to see a comedy, delightful homage to Chaplin's mute cinema, which takes place in the Chiado between two historical characters of our country: Fernando Pessoa and Camões. Lisbon is a very dear theme among the School of Cinema students who dedicate you the always curious look of the youth. Coming often from other parts of the country add to it the freshness of who seems to see everything for the first time.
