Armando Nascimento Rosa, professor of the ESTC Theatre Department, was the winner of the New Dramaturgy Prize 2020, with the unheard piece Rimbaud in the Dubai. The jury unanimously deliberated the award of the award to Rimbaud in Dubai, considering it, from among the 33 pieces of theatre the contest, "the best original and unheard text, written in Portuguese language". This was the 4 th edition of the New Dramaturgias Prize, promoted by the theatrical company Lendias d' Ensing, based in Beja and supported by the DGArts.

Armando Nascimento Rosa revealed his satisfaction with this award, in advance that the same means that what he writes "continues to be instigating for what is meant to be the new dramaturgies". The author, playwright, ensaist and musical creator, who relies on some thirty original dramatic works, some of them award-winning and / or translated into seven languages, added that the moment is of special importance as it marks "twenty years since the premiere of [its] first staged piece".
