A Normal Heart is the new project of the company Teatro do Go. A cycle dedicated to LGBTQIA + themed, namely to issues of gender identity, which will occupy 2 rooms of the São Luiz Teatro Municipal, in Lisbon, from 14 a to December 20.
The programming starts at December 14, with the conference Identities. An informal conversation on the theme of gender identity, moderated by Constancy Carvalho Man, which will count on the participation of Ana Aresta (President of the Direction of ILGA Portugal), André Tecedeiro (writer and plastic artist), Paulo Pascoal (actor) and Rita von Hunty (actor and drag queen Brazilian).
From 15 a to December 19, Vita & Virginia presents itself in the Sala Mário Viegas. A creation of Daniel Gorjão, from the text of Eileen Atkins, which explores the amorous relationship of Virginia Woolf with Vita Sackville-West, departing from a compilation of letters exchanged between both during 20 years. The spectacle relies on the interpretation of Maria João Vicente and Teresa Tavares and musical direction of Martim Sousa Tavares.
Also in the Sala Mário Viegas, from 16 a to December 20, João Villas-Boas presents its first creation, Gejağ o (word that reads "cagtcho" and which means "queer" in Esperanto). A performative act rendered rites, where the text and movement tell a personal story of ruture with a prejudice.
The sessions of the two shows will occupy the Sala Mário Viegas in an altercation throughout the week: Vita & Virginia will be presented on days 15, 17 and December 19, at 19h30, while Gejaparte o will have sessions at 16, 18 and December 20, also at 19h30.
